Terms & Conditions

1. Number of Guests:
We ask for a final guarantee of the number of attendees no later than 48 hours prior to the event. Payment will be based upon this number.
2. Payment:
A 30% deposit, calculated on the forecasted expenditure in relation to the number of persons is required on confirmation of the event. The remaining balance is to be paid at the end of the event. Cheques are to be made payable to Mr Dorian Cassar. A direct bank transfer is also possible.
3. Tailor Made Packages & Requirements:
Should the packages are not appealing to you, or should they not match you requirements, tailor made packages can be arranged. Additional charges may apply.
4. Storage:
We have limited capacity to store materials and therefore it is highly recommended that decorations are only brought-in at the time of set up.
5. Decorations:
Decorations supplied by the Venue remain the exclusive property of the Venue and must not be removed. The use of The Lodge trademarks/logos is prohibited if authorization for this has not been obtained from the Management.
6. Sound & Equipment:
Any form of sound PA system is not permitted in the Venue and the client can use the PA system available in the Venue. Other AV equipment can be obtained or rented from the Venue or from third parties.
7. House Rules:
During the period of a booking, the Client agrees to observe whatsoever house rules in operation, recognizing that these are essential to maintain health and safety, the Venue's reputation and the our normal operation.
8. Third Parties:
Where the Venue undertakes to organize events or services for the client, with a third party, the Venue will endeavour to ensure the competence of the third party. The Venue however cannot be held responsible for the level of performance of a third party.
9. Cancellation Terms:
A cancellation fee of 50% of the forecasted expenditure based on the minimum guaranteed number shall apply should the client wish to cancel the event between 60 to30 days prior to the event. A cancellation fee of 100% of the forecasted expenditure based on the minimum guaranteed number shall apply should the client wish to cancel the event between 0 and 29 days prior to the event.
10. Cancellation of agreement by force majeure etc:
If the Venue is prevented from carrying out its obligation, by circumstances beyond its reasonable control such as: government intervention, accidents, act of God, local disasters or war. The Venue’s liability towards the Client shall be no greater than the deposit paid by the Client.
11. Confetti:
Use of confetti is strictly prohibited. If the management upholds your request for the use of confetti, a cleaning free of 50 Euro would apply.
12. Variations:
No verbal representations or arrangements are recognized by the Venue and a written notice can only modify the Conditions of this contract.
13. TitlePrices:
All mentioned prices are fixed as per contract and inclusive of VAT, unless there are changes in the level of taxation that may be imposed on the Venue by the government.
14. Food & Beverage:
All food and beverages will be catered by The Lodge without any exceptions. Clients may bring their own cake at no extra cost.
15. Smoking:
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor premises. It is only permitted in the outdoor areas of the Venue.
16. Timings:
All functions held at The Lodge are limited for music after 23.00hrs. All functions must end by midnight.
17. Availability:
The venue and the date of the event are subject to availability. Bookings are on first come first served basis against a deposit. Provisional bookings will fall after 48 hours from confirmation.
18. Overtime:
Overtime is incurred for events which proceed after four hours at €150.00 per hour.
19. Personal Items:
Clients and their guests are kindly requested not to leave any personal items in the Venue after their function. The Lodge shall not be liable for missing or lost items left at the venue.
